- Using Gnu Privacy Guard for Windows is much better

Encryption On The Fly!
is still useful because you can still use PGP with releases of Windows prior to Vista, and it has some good steganography information in it as well.
Just use Gnu Privacy Guard, Mozilla Thunderbird, and Enigmail.
If you use encryption this way, all of the free crypto articles on this site will then work on Windows as well.
